DELTA  KIDS

VISION

At Delta, we exist to make, mature, and multiply disciples of Jesus.

The Children's Ministry exists to help parents fulfill this vision at home and at church with their children. Our mission is to support and equip parents in the discipling of their children.

We see in Scripture that God has a design for families: Parents instructing and leading their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.  So, as a children's ministry we seek to engage the whole family, both children and parents.  We want to create opportunities to equip parents to disciple their children and for families to worship, learn, serve, and fellowship together.

See Deuteronomy 6, Psalm 78, Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4, 2 Timothy 3:14-17

The Children's Ministry offers:

* Sunday morning classes for small children

* Semester equipping classes for younger children and youth

* Opportunities/Events for fellowship, family connection, and/or service

* Resources for parents and families

Children in the Worship Service

We desire for the whole family to worship God together on Sunday mornings, children included.

Classes for children ages birth through end of Kindergarten are available on Sunday mornings (see below), be we want to make it abundantly clear that children are welcome and wanted in the Sunday morning worship service.

Resources to Help Your Child During the Service

Please help yourselves to the materials provided for children at the back of the sanctuary. We have children's Bibles and note-taking materials to help your children stay engaged with God's Word and the sermon during the service.

Youth Fellowship Nights

Vision for Youth Fellowship Nights: Our vision is to see students embrace their faith as a natural part of everyday life by experiencing Christian community and practices in a meaningful way.

What to Expect:  Once a month, students gather for food, Scripture, prayer, and fun. These nights create space for authentic community and reinforce the truth that following Jesus means loving God, loving others, loving His Word, living honestly in community, and practicing prayer together. Our hope is to help students embrace their faith and see these practices as a natural part of everday life in following Jesus.
